| Il 26 e 27 giugno sulla base aerea austriaca di Zeltweg, nella regione della Styria, si è svolta l’edizione 2009 della famosa Air Power 09, seconda manifestazione aerea per importanza in Europa è inferiore solo al “mitico” Royal International Air Tattoo di Fairford in Inghilterra, per assistere all’evento nei due giorni di apertura al pubblico le presenza totali sono state ben 280.000, surclassando tutti i record delle edizioni precedenti, i visitatori dell’Air Show sono stati ben ripagati con la presenza di velivoli e Pattuglie Acrobatiche di ben 19 nazioni diverse. Mentre per gli spotters la base aerea è stata aperta per cinque giorni dal mercoledì alla domenica cosi per permettere di “immortalare” gli arrivi di tutti i velivoli partecipanti alla manifestazione. E’ giusto menzionare che tale evento è stato supportato dalla Forza Aerea austriaca e sponsorizzato dalla nota società Red Bull. |

On 26 and 27 June, the Austrian military air base at Zeltweg, situated in the Styria region, hosted the 2009 edition of the now famous Air Power event, the second most important air display in Europe, and smaller only that the "mythical" Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford in Great Britain. Over the two days that the airfield was open to the public, the total number of spectators was over 280,000, breaking all previous attendance records.
